How we score

Every scan runs the same automated checks on live chain data and turns them into one 0 to 100 trust score. Here is exactly how.

1. Overview

AmokX assigns every token a trust score from 0 to 100 based on automated on-chain analysis. The score combines six weighted factors, with hard caps and kill switches that override the weighted average when critical thresholds are met. Scores reflect on-chain data analysis and do not constitute financial advice or endorsement. This page documents exactly how it works.

0-39LOWMultiple risk indicators detected in on-chain data

40-69MODERATESome risk factors present, review details

70-100HIGHLow risk factors detected across analyzed metrics

2. Six weighted factors

Factor	Weight	How AmokX checks it
Liquidity Safety	25%	LP lock detection across all major lockers (including AmokX Locker), burn detection, lock duration and provider
Honeypot Risk	20%	Simulated buy/sell trade test on-chain, actual tax measurement, slippage modifiability detection
Contract Security	20%	Source code pattern scan (17+ patterns), proxy and permission detection
Holder Distribution	15%	Top 10 wallet concentration analysis, creator holdings percentage, total holder count
Deployer Reputation	10%	AmokX deployer database, repeat deployer detection across previous deployments
Market Authenticity	10%	Volume to liquidity ratio analysis, wash trading signal detection

3. Kill switches (score forced to 0)

xConfirmed honeypot (sell blocked in AmokX trade simulation)
xContract has self-destruct capability
xFlagged deployer (3+ tokens scored below 40 from the same wallet)
xHidden owner combined with ownership reclaim function

4. Hard caps (maximum score limits)

Certain conditions cap the score regardless of other factors:

Condition	Max score
LP unlocked on tokens older than 48 hours	39
Liquidity lock couldn't be checked, on a token that isn't established	69
Near-honeypot (honeypot factor scored below 20)	30
Liquidity under $1K	25
Liquidity under $5K	35
Liquidity under $10K	50
Fewer than 10 holders	25
Fewer than 50 holders	45
Modifiable taxes with existing sell tax of 5% or more	45
Sell tax above 20%	30
Combined micro-cap (under $25K liquidity with fewer than 100 holders)	35

5. The 6 security layers

Simulated Trade TestBuy/sell simulation on DEX pairs to detect honeypots and hidden taxes

Smart Contract Code Scan17+ regex patterns for dangerous Solidity functions

On-Chain Safety Data30+ security signals including proxy, mint, pause, and blacklist detection

Deployer ReputationHistorical tracking of deployer wallets and repeat deployer detection

6. LP lock detection

All major lockers receive equal scoring credit: AmokX Locker, UNCX, Team Finance, PinkLock, Mudra, and others. LP burned to dead addresses also receives full credit. Our own locker gets no preferential treatment.

7. What we don't check (honest limitations)

We do not perform independent bytecode decompilation for unverified contracts. Bytecode-level analysis is sourced from third-party security infrastructure.
Trust scores cannot predict future actions by token deployers.
A high score does not guarantee safety. A low score does not confirm a scam.

8. Data sources

AmokX combines data from multiple sources including third-party security APIs, decentralized exchange data feeds, blockchain explorers, and our own simulated trade infrastructure, and deployer reputation database. For specific API attributions, see our disclaimer page.
