The team behind AmokX stays anonymous for safety reasons. The product flags honeypot operators, serial rug pullers, wallet drainers, and coordinated launch shillers. Some of these actors operate at significant scale, with revenue in the millions and organized retaliation patterns. Public researchers in this space have been doxxed, threatened, and worse for far less than what AmokX is positioned to do at scale.
The decision to remain anonymous is not unusual in crypto. ZachXBT operates pseudonymously after years of work in this space. Many successful protocols and tools were built and run by anonymous founders for their entire history. The crypto-native audience accepts pseudonymity. The work is what matters.
That doesn't mean AmokX is opaque. The opposite:
- All smart contracts deployed by AmokX are publicly verified on-chain with source visible on BscScan and BaseScan.
- The scoring methodology is documented in detail: every weight, every kill switch, every hard cap. We score by rules, not by feel.
- AmokX reads from GeckoTerminal, Etherscan V2, GoPlus, and public on-chain RPC. We don't hide what we use.
- The infrastructure runs on standard providers (Cloudflare, Supabase, Upstash), not opaque proprietary stacks.
The team behind AmokX may reveal themselves at some point, when the project has grown large enough that publicly identifying us creates more risk for the attackers than it does for us. Until then, the work speaks for itself. Scan before you buy. Don't get rugged.
If you have a tip, a request, or a serious concern, message @0xAmokX on X. We read everything.
